CTA's main objective in this field is to support the technological activities of its customers by applying technological know-how obtained through R&D projects.

CTA has broad experience under R&DT projects at a regional, national and European level, including programmes such as FP5, FP6 and FP7, Clean Sky (I and II as core partner) and Horizon 2020, all of which with a very high success rate.

These development projects are carried out either with CTA as a sole partner or as part of a consortium of different companies, technology centres and universities to foster strategic alliances.

CTA applies strict quality criteria for the identification, protection and publication of R&D results, including a technology blog.
